Handmade paper can add that extra element to your
artistic projects that make them really stand out. This three-session series of
workshops will combine handmade paper and the alternative photographic process
of cyanotypes. Cyanotypes are one of the earliest (and easiest!) photographic
processes, and participants in this workshop will learn two different methods
for creating photographic images on paper they make! Please note that these workshops can be taken individually,
but are designed to work together.

Cyanotype printing is a photographic technique
developed in the 19th century and widely used in contemporary
alternative photography. This fun and user friendly process doesn’t require a
darkroom and can be easily explored at home, and works great on handmade paper! Anne van Leeuwen will demonstrate both paper making and
cyanotype printing, which can be further explored in the three session series
of workshops they will be teaching in February and March.
